Similar to marijuana, there's a negative stigma surrounding those struggling with their mental health. People label them as crazy or unstable maybe even saying they do it for the attention.
Millions of people suffer in silence every year and those numbers have gone through the roof since this pandemic. Its time to break the stigma by speaking up and speaking out.
I myself began to self mutilate at the age of 11 and continued into adulthood.

You never know the battles someone may be fighting behind closed doors; remember to always be kind.
