My Yoga Journey

How did I start doing yoga?


I started doing yoga ๐Ÿ˜œ


A late, dear friend of mine shared his personal yoga journey with me and it truly resonated with me


I was too weak to hit the gym at the time due to health conditions, but was desperately seeking an outlet


I needed to do something. I longed for movement.


I started watching yogis on Instagram. I'd follow pages that I admired, saving beautiful photos for reference.


I did purchase a few ebooks from @findingmorgantyler! @ab_asanas was very helpful. I highly recommend guides like this.


I also purchased a yoga fan from @Amazon filled with poses and variations for beginners. This was so helpful when someone would reference a pose I was not familiar with or used the original sanskrit name.

YouTube and @gaia were also wonderful resources!!! Both have short videos you can easily work into your daily routine.


Find what works with you.


There are so many tools and free resources available.


You have no excuse.


Just start!


The beauty of yoga is it's not about competing with anyone.


It's about you and your journey. Honoring that.


Don't push yourself to do more then your body is ready for.


We are all at different stages.


Respect your body. It is your temple.


Incorporating cannabis can help elevate and enhance your practice.
