Influencer Night at Tru Fusion North Scottsdale

Influencer?

Who? Me?

Nah... ((lol))

This was my thought process when I received a message inviting me to the influencer night at Tru Fusion in North Scottsdale.

I live about 30 minutes from Scottsdale, so I had never heard of it before. So of course I took to Google!

They offer a variety of classes, which is GREAT and its all heated! Yes, the barefoot bootcamp, the yin yoga flow, the spin class... All of it is HOT AF!

Now I've done Bikram in the past, but it had been A WHILE.

I was told I could bring a guest and instantly reached out to my friend Ashley. She was stoked to go and try out somewhere new as well. She's my workout buddy.

Unfortunately, day of Ashley wasn't feeling well and couldn't make it.

Not going to lie y'all, my anxiety began creepin in and I debating on not going either.

I suffer from PTSD have have the WORST social anxiety. I can remember when I couldn't go to the grocery store alone.

But truth be told I an TIRED of letting my anxiety run my life. I'm SICK of living in fear.

I've missed out of a lot of good opportunities because I was afraid to go alone. But not anymore. I put my game face on and walked in there like a boss.

Haha Not really, but I did go all by myself.

Luckily, I saw someone I knew while checking in! Small world! ((I don't know many people and have few friends))

We chatted a little before heading into our separate classes. I was doing yoga and she did a bootcamp.

I've gotta say, I've never sweat so much in my entire life! Like for real for real!

I took off my tank before practice, so I only had on a sports bra with my leggings during the flow. But my tank was soaked in sweat by the time I got home. & thats after an hour long drive because I had to stop to get Chloe along the way. So crazy!!! But was one hell of a class!

The studio was modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At one point my smart self locked my things in a locker without checking the code. A gal at the front quickly helped me out.

I eventually loosened up and met a couple of really sweet yogis that I hope to see again soon.

Was totally crushing on the girl in front of me. Her flow was so beautiful.

I did have to rest in childs pose for a minute or two at one point. I feel like I was probably a little dehydrated, but with all of the up and down motion my vertigo came into play. Which of course made me a little nervous causing my heart rate to spike. So when I felt my face going numb I figured it was time for a break.

Always listen to your bodies. It is ok to rest. I do always try to stay on my mat though. I refuse to walk out. lol

Best part though-

We each got a swag bag for attending which included one month FREE!

I'll definitely be going back and am excited to try some more classes.
