Fun at the Farm

Fall is here...

Fall is here! 🎶

So happy temperatures are finally cooling off here in the wonderful valley of the sun!

Perfect weather for the annual Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party. 🎃

Attending this annual event has been a tradition of mine and Chloe's for the past 5 years. They never disappoint and it keeps getting better every year. This year was no exception, as there were more rides, more food, and more fun!

I like to plan ahead and purchase tickets from Fry's as they give a discount with your VIP card. #winning This also helps by pass the line once at the farm.

Pro Tip: Buy your train tickets after entering!

They do 2 versions of the train ride. The one conducted before dark is of course just a regular ride, where as the one after sunset is spooky with lots of scares along the way. This is quite possibly my favorite part and what keeps me going back year after year. We prefer the spooky train ride after dark. But even purchasing tickets for the train in advance, I'd still recommend getting in line for your ride by 7:00 pm.

There certainly isn't shortage of food and there is absolutely something for everyone!

My favorite is the chili, afterall its partially what the festival is for! This year I opted to try the pumpkin chili as it was a little more hearty with more veggies. It was DELICIOUS!

They of course also have burger, bratwurst, hot dogs, pulled pork and more!!! They even have wood fire pizzas and vegetarian/vegan options.

The live music is also always a good time. They had two stages this year playing different types of music to make sure everyone was pleased. Kids are parents were dancing around like crazy enjoying their night.

While at the farm you will also find a country store with fresh baked goods, a petting zoo with adorable goats, pumpkin patch, a 10 acre corn maze, hayrides, face painting, fire pits with s'mores to roast, and more.

If you live locally, I highly suggest you check it out next year. There is sure to be something there to satisfy everyone in the family!

Don't miss the homemade coaster!!! Short, but FANTASTIC!
